Do you know who’s ‘behind the buildings?’

The Trust is undergoing many transformative building projects. You have probably noticed new parts being added to the Emergency Care Building almost every day, the rapid development of the Community Diagnostic Centre in the city centre, to name two.

To recognise the people, partnerships and stories behind the programmes, we have been running the #BehindtheBuilding campaign, hearing from people who will be working in the buildings once it is operational, and also from those who are helping in their construction. The focus is on the humans, and not the concrete or machinery, involved in the wide variety of jobs associated with the projects.

So far we have heard from two people involved in the programmes, and we aim to bring you many more which will appear monthly on the UHP website. Johnathan Bradbury who is the Regional Director and Healthcare Sector Lead for Services Design Solution (SDS), and  Architect, Andrew Morris, are the first to appear in the #BehindtheBuilding campaign.
